Natural Allergy Options and Treatment

Natural Allergy Support

All allergy issues generally lead back to the root cause being poor gut health for many years. They say 70-80% of your immune system resides in your gut. What causes gut issues and negatively effects the gut flora or microbiome? Antibiotic use, poor diet choices, too much sterilization of your environment and yourself with hand sanitizer/germ killers and such, chemicals in or on your food and in your home or work environment, alcohol, medication or vaccination usage, and other factors. Here are some supplements and things I recommend to help support your gut health and calm abnormal allergic responses.

1. Probiotics

2. Chiropractic & Acupuncture

3. Local Honey and/or Bee Pollen

4. Quercetin

5. Vitamins C and D

6. Bromelain

7. Butter Bur

8. Bone Broth

Improving your diet is going to be one of the best things you can do to improve your body’s function and abnormal response to the environment. Allergies simply put, are an inappropriate response to normal things in the environment. I personally do not recommend allergy medications unless your 100% miserable, because they will cause negative effects in your body over time. Remember natural is always best! Be careful and read your food labels. The food industry has become very sneaky about their labeling and advertising in the recent years, proclaiming things to be natural when in many cases it is not true. So, what’s the best diet/foods to help allergies? It is an alkaline natural diet high in fruits and vegetables, here are a few simple recommendations to give you some direction on what’s good and not so good in connection to your food choices, diet, and allergies.

Good/Natural:

  • Fruits and Vegetables
  • Bone Broth
  • Free range or wild caught meats
  • Nuts/Seeds (not peanuts)

Not Good:

  •  Sugar and wheat/glutens
  •  Dairy
  •  Processed foods (most all boxed premade foods)
  •  Milk Chocolate
  •  Alcohol
